Who We Are
Founded in 1993, Jimale Technical Services, LLC (JTS) is a woman- and minority-owned consulting firm built on trust, teamwork, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to grow. We blend local insights with global standards, delivering technical excellence through a multicultural team dedicated to the public realm. At JTS, we don’t just build infrastructure; we create meaningful workplaces and lasting community impact.
Our Story
A Seattle native, civil engineer, and University of Washington (UW) graduate, CEO Tanya Jimale credits much of JTS’s success to the inspiration she drew from her late father, Russell H. Holland.
“When I was little, he took me to see the Space Needle being constructed, and I asked him what was wrong with these streets. I was concerned about the street we rode on because there were other roads that led nowhere,” said Jimale. “And he told me that they were waiting for me to fix them. Well, he didn’t know that he had planted a seed in me, and when my father passed, that is when I decided to start on my own business. He was my inspiration.”
What We Do
We provide expert Construction Management and Project Controls for transportation, water/wastewater, and educational infrastructure. Our mission is to empower communities and provide opportunities for historically overlooked talent. By integrating engineering and landscape architecture expertise, we ensure every project prioritizes environmental stewardship and community values.
