Route 44 Transit Plus Multimodal Corridor Project Seattle Department of Transportation Seattle, WA

Project Description

JTS provided document control for the project to raise the road above FEMA flood elevation—adding a new three-lane roadway, curb, gutter, sidewalk, storm system, watermain system, illumination, planters, irrigation, and several driveway improvements—from S 220th St to S 214th St. The assignment included checking certified payroll for accuracy and logging payrolls on a tracking sheet; checking and tracking requests to sublet, certificate of federal aid, statement of intents, and debarment; and maintaining and organizing project files in the prime’s SharePoint site.

The team maintained tracking logs for RFI’s, submittals, and change management and updated the DBE tracking log. Additionally, JTS assisted with monthly pay estimates by inputting material tickets into Access, checked math on field note records (FNR) provided by the inspector, and input bid item totals in the city’s pay estimate Excel sheet. JTS assisted in drafting correspondence and provided responsive issue background when requested, attending and actively participating in regular on-site meetings.
